This cannot be True. Steam banned Horses back in 2023 and told them then that the decision was final. The recent payment processor thing could not have had anything to do with it.

It seems like alot of media got roped into participating into a clear marketing campaign from this studio.

I don't totally agree with this? I still hear people talk about how GoW beat out RDR2 in 2018 or Sekiro's surprise win in 2019, some are still complaining about astrobot winning last year!

Ehh, games by their nature are always going to appeal disproportionately more to disaffected, weird, ill-adjusted people.
The more well adjusted someone is, the more likely they will dedicate their time to sports, music, excersize etc. over games. I love games but in the agrigate thats reality.

When I watch the world news, I also have no impact on what is being portrayed, but, like with sports, its covering real things that are occuring in reality, and thus has much more significance/legitimacy
