I tend to ramble about Detroit sports | Hopeless Optimist | Andrew Navigato Believer | Wannabe Pistons Hater | TRAY-SH-MANE | #DetroitBasketball #DetroitTigers
Probable Hot Take:

Not that Vuc would solve many of our defensive issues… but he would help this team a TON offensively imo.

Feel like he wouldnt cost much at all considering hes on the books for next season.

The Pistons couldnt “extend” Beasley even if they wanted to because hes signed to a 1 yr deal? They would have to let him hit FA first.

I think thats a thing lol

The broadcast was mentioning this last night and I totally agree: Jaden Ivey was playing within himself last night.

Totally under control, patient, but still explosive.

THAT version of Ivey will be extremely valuable for a long time

This is definitely what you hoped the team would takeaway from last season.

Understand the value and significance of each and every win.
“What we went through last year, and I keep saying it, it was painful. It was painful to go through that. We cherish every single win.”

It’s been years since the Pistons have generated this kind of early-season momentum. They’re growing up.

Detroit Pistons off to best 15-game start in years. They're growing up
Don't look now but the Detroit Pistons are off to their best start in years thanks to their young nucleus growing up, including Jaden Ivey.

On the bright side, I thought Duren did well against Sarr offensively. Used his strength advantage well.

The negative being that he was (again) brutal on defense. Being a step late essentially the entire game.

However, due to his early foul trouble (again) he only played 18 mins… #Pistons

I dont think you can overstate how important Beasley has been both on the court and just his presence and leadership.

THIS is what we all wanted when we said we wanted vets to help lead our young guys.
Beasley: "I told (Ivey) tonight he’s been amazing. He’s getting everybody involved and getting to his spots … shoutout to Jaden Ivey and good to have him back."

Perhaps my favorite twitter feature that is not on Bluesky yet is the ability to turn off retweets of people you follow so they dont clutter your feed.

Hope to see that added
Bluesky is bad about allowing me to refresh my timeline without jumping to the start. Need that fixed. Was one of twitters stupidest fixations.

Give me real time timestamps and let me scroll from bottom to top seamlessly, I fucking beg of you

Two lineups that I’d like to see more of:

Cade Sasser THJ Tobias Duren
Ivey Beasley Moore Holland Stew

Staggers Cade/Ivey, keeps energy/defense for both, & movement shooting in both

I dont think Beasley and THJ should play together if you want Sasser/Moore to get minutes #Pistons

I still dont love Sasser as a full time PG, but its so obvious how helpful Sasser and Moore’s secondary ball handling ability has been for our offense.

Still think we need to look to take more C&S 3s when our offense stagnates. #Pistons
