King of the bed.

The “peekaboo” dog training game is pure joy. I wasn’t even going to try with Beau, given his height and body shape, but gosh I’m so glad we tried because it’s pure joy and smiles and laughter, and when we are facing trigger after trigger outdoors and indoors this is a beautiful fun stress reliever.

After a long walk, Beau decided to take a nap in the snow, proving his “anxious dog” tag to be misleading. 😅

After many days of not feeling well, Sam is looking better today. Kidney disease is a toughie.

After witnessing a shooting-in-progress yesterday, this morning’s goal was to go as far away from our neighborhood as possible. Peace out, from Beau’s favorite place. ☀️

Thanks to my cousin for sending me this birthday gift! And she’s right. And I’ve finished writing it and it’s currently under consideration with seven literary agents! 📚 🙏

Today’s zen moment: just taking it all in at Beau’s favorite place, an hour’s drive from the city. ☀️
