Y’all, look at this gorgeous fall bouquet I received from a client yesterday! She of course realized that I have been off for six weeks with my knee replacement. And somehow realized that I have a birthday coming. It’s amazing how much I love flowers!

Yesterday I got my knee to a 94° bend on my own. And I got it to a -3 on the straightening part. Only three more points to flat zero! She said I was a bit ahead of the game, so that’s good news . And I got my bandage off. No sutures here -only glue.

I got my new knee. It’s titanium. All I can think about is Lieutenant Dan saying “magic legs” … it was outpatient surgery and right back home about five hours later. And I walked out of the surgery center. Isn’t that amazing?

My friend Angela, who keeps finding all of the birds nest fungus in her mulch, brought me this little container. At first, I thought it was something for breakfast. Then when I took the lid off, I saw. I brought it home and grafted it into my mulch.
