I love this! When I turned out all the lights, the warm light coming from these little houses and a few candles just made the whole room feel cozy.

What I'm reading, Wicked, by Gregory Maguire. I found this book years ago at a used book store. This was the first Broadway show we took our daughter to see. And, now, we can't wait to see the movie. I think now is a good time to start this book.

Now for the current cats. Fanta (orange and white) and Carmel (buff and white) are 11 and siblings. Arnie (gray/brown tabby) showed up at our back door last winter. He now lives with my daughter at college but comes to visit his Uncle Fanta and Aunt Carmel frequently.

I've always struggled defining who I am. But I know what I do. I craft. I sew. I read. And there are other verbs I want to try: paint, draw, journal. We can try different verbs, and we can let some go. Nouns feel bigger, more encompassing, harder to live up to.
"We are not nouns, we are verbs."
