We have not had internet for over 48 hours due to an AT&T outage. This is a huge geographic area. Shocked it is not being reported in the news.

I read this piece so you don’t have to.

My conclusion: Only a shitty person could write a breezy article like this because they don’t recognize their lack of expertise and the insufficiency of their research.

Get bent.

Dav Pilkey making 6-7 jokes to 1000+ 8-11 year olds at Pullman Yards makes me feel like I am at a religious revival.

Education reporters:

This school in Jacksonville for children with autism has been forced to suspended operations due to the government shutdown and layoff of federal staff at the Dept of Education.

What happens to these kids?

This parental warning on the musical we are seeing on Sunday is sending me.

We are currently 6.5 hours into executive session. The hold music is currently playing Funky Duck and now I am going to be signing “he’s a funky duck” all day.

I was too slow to grab the song about smoking CBD, though.

If you are a parent who has used social media to join groups on IEPs or search out parent resources, you have been bombarded with social media about it for the last 5-7 years via ads. It’s just more of the same grift.

Someone in GA Democrats should make a markup with Brian Kemp’s face.

I do not feel like the GA media has done a good job on the timeline, but GA state agencies were involved in the Hyundai raid so either

(1) Kemp is absent from his job (he is MIA a lot) OR

(2) Kemp knew it was going to happen.

After my son’s diagnosis in 2022, I was bombarded with Facebook ads for Tylenol lawsuits from scam organizations and lawyers based on just searching the word “autism.”

Parents have been preyed on by these guys forever. So much of this administration’s polices are based on Facebook memes. It’s sick.

I had to go back and check and it was October 2022. I keep a screenshot because I was so upset. I would hide one ad, and a different ad from a different org would come up right away.

I walked by Beauty & the Beast(ie Boys). They were dancing when I walked by. Sign of my age that I was the only one who knew what they were. 👵🏻

That 9/11 graphic at the top of the school lunch menu this month is… something.

(I was on the subway under the WTC when the first building fell so maybe I am not the most unbiased audience member here).

DragonCon Momcore 2025.

Pleasantly surprised that the line to get into The Gilded Age panel was incredibly long and diverse!

This was my dog’s daycare and the video is really old. My dog was painted on the next iteration of their bus in 2019ish.

They are the best place.

I cannot log into Facebook without having Instagram reels from people trying ti sell me autism cures promoted in my face. And it is not against their community standards anymore?

It is 5 years later and Emily Oster is in the Times still talking about COVID and The Lab Leak Email Guy (TM) is mad about it.

Make it all stop.

Honestly… amazing.

Perhaps Substacking & posting can only get you so far in this administration.

1. Our district is using a new system to assist with address verification. It gives them access to an incredible amount of information on parents to district employees (attached).

2. They don’t know how it works as they used it to tell >20% of their families they don’t actually live where they do.
