If nothing else, the last 11 months have demonstrated that our system, as it was, was already broken beyond repair. It's not working for the people, it's working for the rich & powerful. We've strayed so far from the country that our forefathers imagined & designed. (1/3)

It's all about appearances, like everything else with MAGA. As long as things look good on the outside, they can pretend everything is great. Which, obviously, is far easier than actually doing their jobs (and lays any failures on us peons).
