Spent eleven days in Edmonton at the 2001 Worlds. Not surprised. It felt like a small town of 1.3 million people, and sports absolutely define small towns.

I am curious to see what effect the troubles are having on races. Doing a relay next week at an ultra being held just a short drive from Port Huron/Sarnia yet only three Canadians in the whole event (+/- 500 total entries).
