I’ve been a furry for more than half my life. I’ve been making badges for nearly that long. It’s truly become an exercise in simplifying my work attractively — sometimes more complicated doesn’t necessarily mean better, and sometimes simpler work even has a lower margin of error!

Once upon a time, I used to desperately want to be a splash illustrator with a high degree of polish.
I’ve embraced toony art and it’s made it easy to feel stagnant, but I found this badge I made in 2019 and it’s night and day. I’m so proud of how polished my new stuff looks 🥺
