The only reason to buy the Studio version is to export content higher than UHD, if you were creating stereoscopic stuff, or if you want to the AI powered tools like Magic Mask. If you did decide to buy it, it’s a one time $300 purchase. No subscription.

Give Davinci Resolve a shot. The free version is perfectly fine for 95% of all users. It has different edit modes to edit like Premiere or Final Cut X. It also has a compositor for vfx or motion graphics, a powerful audio editing suite, as well as it being the industry for standard color correction.
