Camilla Taylor’s exhibition Unkindness is now on view at Track 16 in East Hollywood thru January 10. Taylor explores both the vacuum of loss and the emergence into a new world and new self – radically unlike the past.

Creating in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire that destroyed Camilla Taylor’s home and studio and working out of borrowed studios, they salvaged, recreated, and conceived anew works for this exhibition. Their exhibition “Unkindness” opens November 8th.

Daniel Wheeler’s “Me On a Beam” (salvaged wood, cast stainless steel) is part of the two-person exhibition Valence with Wheeler and Azadeh Shladovsky. “Me on a Beam” is a play on “Mise en abyme” the French phrase for a picture within a picture implying infinite visual replication.

“Flowers For Madame Pelicot” honors of Gisele Pelicot, who was drugged by her husband and raped by other men — dozens of times over years. The text are quotes of Pelicot.

Her exhibition “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” continues thru 10/25.

Beryl Odette’s “Seaing” in East Hollywood is open in celebration of Juneteenth. Odette wanted her exhibit, which is about being seen & how we learn to see others, to be viewable on this day. If you want art by an African American artist to be part of your celebration of Juneteenth, we’re open 11-5

My House Burned Down is an exhibition curated by Camilla Taylor that brings together artists who have experienced the destruction of their home by fire. The exhibition includes those affected by the recent Los Angeles fires of 2025, as well as others who have endured individual, isolated blazes.

3 days left to see JOSEPH BEUYS: POTENTIAL GOODS, a selection of over 40 Beuys prints and multiples that we have to offer. Using everyday materials imbued with symbolic weight, they are an effort to democratize art, removing the barriers between art and life, between uniqueness and mass production.

It’s nestled a mile from Sunset Junction and less than a mile from Zwirner to the east. Also our next door neighbor Ondo has great coffee.

The Broad’s major Beuys survey maybe over, but “Potential Goods” is open for two more weeks. We’re in the first floor lobby of the Bendix Building. Hours are Thursday to Saturday 11-5, and by appointment.

Today our Joseph Beuys show “Potential Goods” is open tonight from 7-9:30pm (amongst other openings going on in the Bendix). If you’ve seen the massive survey of Beuys at the Broad, come browse our show where multiples are for sale. The exhibition continues through April 12.
