Agreed. That’s why I said don’t like that type of hit being described as just being physical. Using that language downplays the recklessness.

Listening to the TSN panel trip over themselves to excuse the hit was gross. Too much talk about intent (“I talked to him and he’s a good guy”), making excuses (Dyce should bring the “same energy” to his players protecting their QB), or that that type of play is just “physical” or “on the edge” 🤮

Danceland Ballroom in Manitou Beach (near Watrous) is a must for Sask history. We had a great lunch at Oda Coffee and Wine Bar last summer, sitting on the deck looking out onto the beach. Lots of local artists too. Definitely recommend a swim in the mineral waters of Little Manitou.

Worth noting that the Order of Canada is granted (and stripped) by the Governor-General and the current GG, Mary Simon, is an actual Indigenous women who negotiated recognition of Inuk ppl in the CdM constitution, was part of the creation of Nunavut, and a well-regarded diplomat.
