Here to read, interested in what others have to say. I appreciate humor and fact-based arguments. Former prof. Have lived in Illinois, Indiana, New York City, Chicago, Miami, and Kentucky! Not a fan of A.I. Sadly, Idiocracy was a documentary.
Really?
The same boomers who can’t figure out FaceTime and are still using AOL email?
They are suddenly making AI videos?
Hmmmmmm

Very, very good. My Dad also had some rental properties, and I also remember being sent for tools that I sometimes could not find. Great piece.

o-o-o-kay.
I had been giving Scott the benefit of the doubt because he says good things about ethical and responsible citizenship. But his pov on male loneliness is wearing thin as it gets more and more whiney and immature. I know that men will do anything to avoid therapy, but come on. Get help.

Yes! Recent stay at lower Times Square (crappy area) in TINY room (200 sq ft) was $700 a night. Hallway had recently flooded. @hiltonhotels.bsky.social

agree!!! Drumpf voters are a LOST cause. Move on.
STOP TRYING TO REHABILITATE THEM.
Eventually, maybe, they will come around.
Maybe.
But that time is not now.

It’s always Durbin, Klobuchar, Gallago.
Sometimes, surprisingly, it’s Osoff, or Schatz.
They say one thing and do another. Exhausting.
Whitehouse and Kelly on this list is terrible.
I don’t know why they voted this way.
Let’s call their offices and ask them.

Your questions are valid. But it would be more meaningful if you could share the details of the case. You know them, right?

Having taught at 3 different institutions I agree that student bodies can vary. However, one toxic student can spoil the whole cohort, and so you must remain vigilant.

And Matthew McConaughey. And Woody Harrelson. And we def need more Sam Elliott and Brian Cox voiceovers.

Ok, then, instead of relying on me to tell you what the 30 Rock line was, you should do your own research and make sure you understand what that context is. I have done my own research and I am clear on my end.

I’m responding specificalot to Gaffigan’s comment that “a joke isn’t going to make someone switch parties.” Um, it did. And I believe that the arts have that kind of power. And Gaffigan took the cowardly way. Compare to Michelle Wolff several years ago. she was braver

I‘ve often wondered how these guys manage to look in the mirror after they have done this sh*t. This, this is the key: they convince themselves that they are the victims. “She tempted me / seduced me / wanted it.“ Anything to avoid owning up to their own actions. Just terrible.

The joke: In the specific scene, Liz Lemon's line was, "Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America,"

I will dress up for flights like I used to when they make the seats comfortable and restore nonstop flights. I’m not dressing up to stand in an over-crowded gate area while planes are delayed, and then cram into a tiny seat for the first of 3 connections.
