Appropriate right now. Working with what I've got and doing the best I can, my feet hitting the ground running.

Today was an emotionally draining day, begun after a night of sleeplessness, and a day filled with difficult but necessary conversations. I'm spent to my core.

I'm not a fan of having a cactus but I sure do love it when the cactus blooms! 🌸

Just a reminder that it's normal to feel both sadness & grief while you mourn what WAS, and to feel excitement for what WILL BE.

They can coexist and both feelings are valid 💗

DOGE wants to spend up to $25,000 of taxpayer funds to build a washer/dryer for staffers in a federal building in D.C.

Meanwhile, the agency is not cutting as much spending as promised, and Tesla continues to lose value. Not great from Elon. www.welcomestack.org/p/doge-savin...

When you cook an egg, the heat that solidifies its whites and yolks kills pathogens like salmonella and bird flu. That’s why food safety officials recommend cooking eggs until both parts are firm. But how unsafe are runny yolks really?

Some say that, as a white woman, I am safe and won't be affected by any of this. First of all, anyone with a heart is affected by ALL of this.
