Agree that balance is hard to traverse. Professional trust needs that clarity of accountability and also that willingness to be vulnerable with each other. When it gets out of balance we can shift to aloof at one end, a rescuer at the other. #EduSkyAU. #ferociouswarmth

A3 without connection and trust collaboration fails. Collaboration - connection = compliance. Connecting people to each other through space to understand each other, share in the joys & the challenges. Doing the heart work, & supported by the head work of systems and structures that support#EduSkyAU

Yes and sometimes that needs us to breathe and not be triggered into reaction rather response. How many students also need that compassion and grace as well. #EduSkyAU

Posting re collegiate trust which has been at the forefront of every school workshop the last 2 weeks. A big part of this is a willingness to bring compassion & grace to the table as we do complex collaborative work, & hold each other in positive regard when the going gets tough. #EduSkyAU

I think one of the facets of connection is seeing each others humanness before any thought of ‘worthiness’. It’s believing in the good in everyone and connecting to that. A real sense of belonging emerging and feeling seen. #EduSkyAU

Thanks @rachaellehr.bsky.social I loved spending time at Dayton with you both. It is such a privilege talking with leaders who are so intentional in their leadership practice and see that every behaviour contributes to the vision. Have a great start to 2025!
