This was a lovely surprise. I'm not a huge fan of Barleywine beers... Always a hit or miss situation. But this Hawkers Black Barleywine was a treat. 10.8% (soooo, just above a light beer) lush and full of character.

Delicious! Each sip is a joy. Flavors change as it sits on the tongue.
A truly wonderful brew.
