While preparing my wildflower yard for a cold snap, I was delighted to find some gorgeous orange flowers that I planted blooming, near December in Oregon. I think I see them in this pic. They come to me as seed balls, so I never know what will show up when, so fun.

I love Pacific Foods, & am horribly disappointed that this corp bought them, & will now close the production plant in 2026. They are a PNW staple, healthier than most. As a former organic grocery food buyer, watching the decimation of healthier food options get bought & ended is frustrating as hell.

You completely get it. Weak men who act powerful cow to those w/ actual power in their presence, not their meanness. They recognize it, & like good little boys, acquiesce. Studying primatology has been more helpful than I ever would have guessed it'd be.
