I prepared myself to say goodbye to my beloved kitty today after over 15 years, but after removing over 250 ml of fluid from around her lungs, she is home. All of my worries about my wife and everyone else are projected onto this cat and she’s home and alive and I might sleep tonight.

We're about three weeks out from my wife's first chemo treatment and chemo brain is real. On the upside, it's led to some really great scavenger hunts in the house and every delivery from Amazon is a bit like Christmas morning.
