But europe is not nacionalistov or state. It is not easy to coordinate 27 status withou autority over it. If Europe would be one state with one military, one budget and one decision point. Russia would never dare to do anything but it is not and strong europe is not in interest also for USA

I agree with you about danger of Russian capital in europe. What people always forged is that yes europe is wealthly but europe is not state or nation. It is patchwork of coutries with many historical issues that are trying to act together.

Gas infrastrukture is 100% owned by state. Fico have soma cards. Also energy would be hard for ukraine to replace, it would have to come all from poland and I think thier gril is not build to run whole another state. But I hope Fico is too coward to do that

But gazprom will deliver as is delivering right now, via turkstream. If eu deciede no more russian gas and slovakia will follow Sk will fail thier Side of contract

I am from slovakia and I hate Fico and all idiots from his goverment, but there is anither Side to it. SPP (slovak national gas delivery company) have long term contract with gazprom ,till 2034 with take or pay clousule. We just have to take thier gas if not we stil have to pay for it
