The prevalence of AI is itself a problem. Many of the tools we've used for years now come with built-in #AI assistants, and these can't always be easily disabled. Given the associated risks and permissions required for responsible AI use, using genAI tools should always be a conscious choice. #ISMPP

Half way through Day 1 of #ISMPPEurope and already some fascinating conversations around #AI in #MedComms. Some truly innovative ideas being investigated, interesting ways in which people are applying it, and some mildly concerning ways in which some folks are already trying to use it.

Last summer I was lucky enough to be the #Raffoluxwinner of a Le Creuset pan set. It was too hot to think about cooking, so I took the cash alternative and celebrated by making a watermelon cooler.

@ISMPP - AI/machine learning can help to streamline data collation, writing, editing, and publishing, but keeping a person in the loop and maintaining accountability will be key to maintaining quality #ismppEurope2022

2/2: How do we measure success or the ROI when using these channels? What are appropriate metrics to use? How can we avoid creating a new 'impact factor' and the risk of distorting MedComms activities to achieve an otherwise arbitrary score? #ISMPPEU2021
