Uncle Toby's stick-waving diagrams!

Honestly, so many moments in that book are so incredibly far ahead of the curve. Mind-blowing to consider that it was written in the 1760s when everyone else is writing earnest linear narratives like "The Vicar of Wakefield" or "The Upholsterer."

Amen. Writing a song to sing for your peers is a great opportunity to figure out who you are and what you have to offer to the world.

Singing your truth at an all-ages show is a great way to find out if your peers think you're an asshole or not.
