Getting reports and videos from friends on the scene. One person taken by ambulance.

Apparently caused by a high speed chase — in one of the oldest, densest corners of Saint Paul.

Same at 64A! Huge turnout, so many newcomers.

Been thinking a lot about how local right wingers have been salivating over this moment for years.

Student-made sign from yesterday’s walk out.

“Don’t get brainwashed” is right.

A reminder that small businesses and beloved restaurants are also on the front lines of this fascist mess we’re living in and still have the strongest backbone of anyone.

They are banking on people not having the critical thinking skills to discern facts from their lies.

This is decades in the making from unregulated social media. This is why they’re attacking intellectualism and education. This is why the far right has strategically embraced technofascism.

Saint Paul: This past weekend we held our DFL convention for the 64A race where public school parent & powerhouse labor lawyer Meg Luger-Nikolai earned endorsement after five rounds of ballots.

Here’s her speech that shows exactly why she’d be effective on day one. Vote megfor64A.com on Dec.16th

As a public school parent and middle-class homeowner, I am so proud of my city for showing up with so much strength to support our students and families.

This was a hard fought uphill battle, and it’s only the beginning of my work to get the state education funding we need across Minnesota.

The family down the street lets their kids decide the Halloween decorations. Their high school daughter put this together four years ago as a middle schooler.

I love Saint Paul.

I don’t think Mandy Jung is on BlueSky but she posted this important take on the harm of this headline.

The Saint Paul school levy is not about extras: it’s about protecting vital programs that make our school district an amazing place for its 33,000 students.

Congratulations to the Como Senior High School boys soccer team for making it to the state finals!!

Too bad our local paper couldn’t be bothered to get their team name right 🙃

Wonder why so many Minnesota school districts across the state are turning to voters for local funding year after year? Thank Jesse Ventura and Tim Pawlenty.

Saint Paul: Vote YES on November 4th. Then let’s tell state leaders it’s time to raise revenue and stabilize school funding. Yesforspps.com
