I spent the night next to the creepiest tree in a random field and my brain has been going with spooky and sad story ideas. I've outlined two short stories (unrelated to creepy tree) and come up with three ghost stories about the tree.

I forgot about elevation adjustments. I just wanted to make some simple chocolate cupcakes for my family as a thank you but they look like poo 😭

At least they taste good 🫠

This is most assuredly a scam. However, I desire to be entertained.

I've got an old 2 volume copy in my pile of books to sell. If you dm me a po box or something I can send it to you

This is Spud, he is the quintessential dumb orange cat with a charisma score through the roof. He works* at a ski area lodge.

*No he doesn't, he just lives there. His sister Maple is the working cat. Spud is too pretty to catch mice.

I'm just trying to get some writing done while my windshield is being replaced. I did not come here to be so viciously attacked

Someone is a menace. Despite her best efforts I managed 6 pages written before talking her for a swim.

I'm on shift at the fire station tonight and struggling to sleep for hours, but at least cutest station dog Asami isn't bothered by my tossing and turning.

I knew a friend wasn't feeding herself properly while moving so I went over there just to make sure she ate real food once this week. All she had were tomatoes, a single pepper, and a few basil leaves so I just brought noodles and spices. I'm still not allowed to lift, but I sure as hell can cook.

I've decided bulky white yarn is almost as bad as black yarn for inability to see what the hell I'm doing. I've been struggling for hours and this is going to be a big project.

My partner is away working on a wildfire doing night operations and sent me this stunning photo.

Mother Clucker is still living her wild and free life in my yard with 2 chicks. I've got a pen set up with veggie scraps. Presumably she's cleaned it out before, but I've not been home to catch her.

As an added bonus, I get to do this with my favorite person.

One of the highlights of my job is sometimes I get to huck candy at children from on top of a repurposed army truck.

Yesterday I learned how to wrap rope. It was super easy but seemed daunting and I'd been putting it off. Today I think my next task is to learn to eye splice.

I just missed her perched on my flowerpot tree stump. And unfortunately between Friday and today so she's down to only having 2 chicks.

I'm finally home from being a responsible adult. I had about 15 minutes left on the pie and just turned the oven off on my way out the door and it seems to not have burnt? In fact it could use like 5 minutes to finish baking and it would be perfect I think.

I don't know about elsewhere, but in the coast near us they're old support posts from the railroad and supporting docks before the railroad was moved away from the dangers of erosion.

While I'm recovering and unable to haul on lines, we're getting some work done on Athena. Our little budget sailboat looks so small in the travel lift.

I've now had to frog the same row twice because I set it up while high on painkillers last night.

I've made stuffies for most of my family's littles. They're easy to customize with the top half of any amiguri and the bottom of a lil blanket.
