This is going to get congress back to D.C. and vote. The Republicans were holding fast on not returning until the Dems signed some sort of CR. They signed a modified CR that gets them some of the guarantees they wanted in law. bit.ly/49PUF8S

Please provide me with the data/information that states that the Republicans were going to reverse their cuts to SNAP, rehire federal employees fired during the shutdown, and stop all future firings of federal employees. Let's start with some data to back up your statements.

Republicans pass the torch and keep fighting for the SAME cause, while Democrats consistently fight amongst ourselves, while we lose the bigger fight. We really need to grow up.

How so? Going after SNAP benefits is NOW off the table. The program is fully funded.

Firing federal employees as a threat is off the table. The ones fired during the shutdown will return to their jobs. Those federal employees and contractors go back to work. A lot of winning in my book.

You can thank the Republicans for the increase in your rates. The Democrats are the only political party fighting to lower your premiums.

This is just the first salvo in an extended fight for healthcare. Why are so many of you thinking this is the end of a very long fight? Gotta take the long view instead of a capitulation.

Come on people. We have to play the long game; it's what the Repugs do, but we seem to lack the backbone.

The Democrats are getting:
- Funding for SNAP (aka food stamps)
- Prevents more mass layoff of federal employees
- Reverses the administration's attempted layoffs of fed employees

These are just the highlights.

Y'all have to understand that this is the first salvo of many. The fight isn't over.
