Yeah, I think I might have lost some points from that as well.

Yup, totally forgot Gudnak. I always use my photos to keep track of played games. Though, I was completely wiped out, so not much to photo 🤣

I think it was like a ~30+ point loss in Speakeasy between the barrel, the protected building, and the book I could have placed? I forget exactly.

Depending on whether we ever get a skill xp rework, maybe a mead to increase skill xp?

Maybe a trinket that adds a random elemental effect to your weapon (fire/electric/frost/poison).

I just got the beginner box for the Avatar set (super excited to play it soon; I've been getting my friend into card games, he hasn't played Magic yet), but the quality is noticeably poorer than usual. And my god the cards stink... I hope they air out some before we play 🤢

Rune looked particularly intriguing. And it sounds like it too! Always up for some Souls-like games.

Oooo, what style are these? What's Rune about?

Gudnak was just a quick game to finish the day. I got wrecked playing the undead starter. Lots of weaker units and like only 2 cards in the deck that do something with them other than raise them. Sadly, didn't get to play the lvl 3 hero that makes the deck work. Starters have been rough.

DriveThruRPG also, apparently. Which might be a problem for creators who need to transfer their earnings from there.

Yeah, I play it solo mostly.

Middle-earth CCG from 1995 (The Wizards was the base set). I still haven't clicked with the LCG; it's very mechanical and doesn't immerse me. Total opposite of MECCG.

I'm definitely going to need to try it.

Looks like I need to try lapsang souchong and toasted rice tea.
I really like Irish breakfast tea, has a creamier(?) flavor than English (but I like that one too). Bigelow's constant comment is pretty good too. Luckily, most companies have decaf versions of their main flavors.

Sweden, Amon Amarth. Or Meshuggah.
Sweden kind of hogs a lot of great metal, honestly.

I think it has mostly to do with the hyper-clean mixing and engineering. It started before AI was ruining everything; people were already sterilizing mixes 😆
There's new stuff I like, but yeah, I miss when guitars crunched. Lots of stuff now sounds... wet?

Our Halloween game went pretty well. A couple of deaths, but we were able to recover without much trouble. We played with the optional rule where gathered resources don't teleport to the house, you have to drop them off. It was getting dicey by the end of the boss fight, but we defeated Bonemass.

Game 2 against Elder. Didn't go so well. I was often short on resin and couldn't light my weapon on fire until late, and spent so much effort getting resin, I wasn't as prepared for the boss fight as I wanted. Died in the battle.
