Finally, I think some pre -Davin stories of some of the Legions are "missing". I feel you don't get to know them enough before Davin.

Still, it's been good reading it all again. I've certainly forgotten some bits already there's so much, and I really would struggle to pick any sort of favourite.

There should have been more assassin stories.
The twin Word Bearer/Ultramarine stories were incredibly boring.
The Salamander stories back to/on Nocturne dragged far too long, like the theme of each chapter kept repeating for no reason.

A few notes (so far);

Big E overreacted re: Magnus.
Every Primach is stuck up their own arse apart from Curze. Some more than others.
Erebus was the figurehead for pretty much everything yes but clearly not alone.
Also Kor Phaeron is a dick (and didn't help either), as is Eidolon.

But why has it taken so long? Problem is, if I read before bed, I fall asleep easily so my best reading is done when working away. My poor ebook has been dropped on the floor so many times, and obviously has had some "wear*, after 8 years it's slowly dying. Not bad I'd say!

I say "re-", as despite having read this series since day 1 (April 25th 2006!) I've missed quite a few (especially during the years I wasn't active in the hobby, cos life reasons). It's been great starting from even before Horus Rising, seeing these characters from a new angle in some ways.

I'll start.
