Alas it happens, looks like you’ve got the right cuddly outfit on though to get over it.

Someways as although it was still my downtime financially from BF, I did revisit these stories later and I remember enjoying at least one of them. Will mention more when you need comments lol.

I started listening to it once haha, about first 20mins. Didn’t abandon it because I wasn’t liking it, I just had to do something else and never got back to it, also unless something grips you early on, you’re not always as keen to jump back onto it. I’m looking forward to the next selection, in…

Like some of the other Master’s, this one needs his own series :)

Ha! Omelette du fromage! Not thought about dexters lab in ages lol.

Oh some other random thing I vaguely remember is that WOTAN is mentioned? No idea of the significance though 🙈
November 15, 2025 at 3:24 PM
I remember buying this umpteen years ago but never listened to it lol, well, maybe a little because it had David Tennant, India Fisher, and Paul Darrow in it, but no memory at all really. In other news, Brighton bound today for a few days, woo hoo!

Ah nice, I wonder what happened to the original Warner sequel, The Dark Palace I think it was called, should have happened instead of Masters of War.

Ah nice, if I was going to do a hamster I considered this one lol

Unless we’ve been double Tom’d or they’ve decided to crack into some of the remaining hartnell/troughton’s surely it can only be season 11 or 21? I’d guess 21, but we’ll see in time lol. It’s funny but when I look at the tiny squeezed down pic it looks like Peter and Colin standing back to back lol.

The Game was billed as the first 6 parter but the episodes are felt like 10mins, and the total running time was 120mins. Minuet in Hell by comparison was a 4 parter but the running time is 150mins. As for plot I remember very little. Same for the other two to be honest :/ very forgetful.

Ah the dark times, not in the sense that these are bad stories, more that this is when I had to take a financial break from big finish, the result of which means I had to catch up on these later & so they aren’t engrained into my memory as much as the others. All I really remember is that…

Awww bless xxx. Also could that corner be anymore Whoey lol.
October 20, 2025 at 5:27 AM
No worries :) Will give future generations of who fans to listen to it all lol. That or myself lol, as I do enjoy the authors segments :) I need to listen to some of the other mcgann episodes, especially big finish. At least I’ve actually heard almost all of those CDs lol.

Unless it’s just the title it didn’t like, but it’s been missing a good few months. This has not been the only time though that episodes have gone missing as it happens on quite a few other podcasts as well.
October 9, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Just a quick question, what happened to 5.4 Genocide in the podcast listing? Noticed it’s not on Spotify or iTunes, had to track it down to complete the books in order lol.

Oooo yay :)
October 9, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Oh awesome :) it is handy sometimes having the various mediums in their own section :)

Oooo yay! Looking forward to listening to this. Big fan of the key to time itself. Love to have a replica. Also one of my first full seasons that I watched.

Same to be honest. Anything we have absolutely nothing of. For me Marco Polo, Myth Makers, Massacre, Smugglers would be the dream choice. In reality what do I actually think is out there? Reign of Terror 4&5, Tenth Planet 4, Web of Fear 3 based on rumours from various people over the years.

The Tenth Planet - the cyber boys have arrived & yay for that. I have really grown to love these versions over time. The first time I saw a picture of them & then heard the voice, I thought they were rather comical, but they so aren’t. Cutler is a complete twat though & it’s a fairly average story.

The Smugglers - where is the love for this one. Often at the bottoms of peoples list but I really enjoy it. It’s not perfect, and it’s not one I watch a lot, but it’s pirates and treasure and a riddle what’s not to love. I also like Cherub and Pike, and it’s lovely to see John Ringham again.

The War Machines - Another Classic for me, & amazing really that the whole story was set on contemporary Earth, something which just didn’t happen back then. I know “Dr. Who” is a really annoying element for some but I really like it. The line just wouldn’t work without it, it’s that emphasis on Who

The Savages - Not one of my favourites, even after the recent release. I’m sure there were some very eerie shots and tones in the original, but you don’t quite get that in animation. I think what happens to Jano is clever and how the change is portrayed, but it’s just not the story for me.
