Depends on the teacher. My amazing English teacher encouraged me. That woman was life changing. I have students I had years ago come back and say how much they enjoyed the deep dive into lit we do in my class, that connection is fire 🔥

Dune? Hitchhikers Guide, ya, I read it. Meh. Entertaining, but not much there. Gatsby is one of those books that I still think about.
