A small narrow pier fully covered in snow, in a completely frozen over lake in the woods. Snow covered branches reaching in from all sides, providing a nice framing. The cold bright light perfectly matches the peaceful frozen mood of this calm morning. The golden glow of the early morning sun is breaking through the bare trees on a hill slope in a wintry beech forest. A dense patch of young trees, still with their dry rusty leaves on. They're almost fully snow covered near the ground, the sun just partially reaching them. Vanilla sky.

View of the upper slopes of a canyon in an empty high alpine landscape. The steep side on the left consists of mainly bare rocks (in colorful strata and shades of rust and ochre), also emphasized by the autumn light. A barely visible narrow path (partially secured via steel rope) is leading over the rocks into the distance. The other side of the canyon consists of rocks in rich dark browns, the lower slopes semi-covered in dry grasses, dropping off vertically into the deep shade near the bottom of the image. The actual canyon part below is not visible. A triangular section of semi-overcast blue sky in the center between the mountains. The overall composition almost feels like a collage-like graphic design, using only three large polygonal shapes of very different textures.

A narrow path along a very narrow ridge of light gray rocks, steep slopes dropping off on either side. The south-facing right side is mostly forested, illuminated by the warm afternoon sun. Blue sky with some streaky clouds. Steep slopes with yellow brown dried grasses leading down into the valley between some cliffs of light gray rocks and forest. Everything bathed in warm golden light. The valley floor is visible with dense forest, a section of the Linder river and tall mountains rising up on the other side of the valley. Hazy sky. The silhouette of a standalone rock needle and some nearby trees along the ridge. The sun and some mountains are partially visible from behind the rock. Beautiful red/brown grasses.
