I just realized that Reuben is the only one not in the family photo at the end of the series, because he left before it was taken. Huh. Probably just a logistics thing but I like how it's tragically thematic in that he loses out on the big ohana because he's hanging around with space cop

Idk whether or not the eyeball curve in the film is consistent with the direction in his model sheet... I think it's probably just whatever shape it needs to be to get across the expression plus the perspective
