We hold town hall meetings to get people behind an updated version of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Economic Bill Of Rights.
"The solution isn’t to keep pretending we can govern together. The solution is to recognize we’re already governing separately, formalize that reality, and build systems that function for those of us still living in the actual world". #nokingsday #nokings #nokingsprotest

"Stop asking how to make politicians listen to you. Start asking how to become more of a problem to them than fascists are. Answer that question with action, sustained and relentless, and you’ll find they listen very carefully indeed"

Or, accept defeat.

"Sustained organization, coordinated pressure, escalating tactics, and a willingness to make politicians’ refusal to act immediately and unbearably costly. Show up not once but constantly. Never let them forget. Never give them peace. Never make inaction the comfortable option."
October 10, 2025 at 8:10 PM
"You don’t make politicians listen by asking nicely. You don’t make them listen by building the perfect coalition or waiting for the right election. You make them listen by becoming the thing they’re most concerned about."
October 10, 2025 at 8:10 PM
"The organized right didn’t win with one protest. They built sustained infrastructure for applying pressure at every level. We need the same level of coordination, the same commitment to escalation, the same relentlessness."

"Legal, peaceful presence outside their offices compounds over time. Not for a day. Not for a week. For as long as it takes. Signs, chants, visibility. Make their office a reminder of their refusal to act. Make their staff walk past you every morning thinking about what their boss is enabling".

Research their donors. Organize protests at their businesses. Launch boycott campaigns.

"Make the calculation simple. Funding this politician costs you customers, reputation, and social capital. Corporate donors need to fear association more than they value access".

Beating back Trump requires that our representatives fear us more than them.

"Making politicians more afraid of you than of fascists requires specific, sustained practices".

It means being relentless; daily phone calls, scheduled visits where you show up in person.

I don't believe we'll beat back Trump until millions of us organize around an ask.

Again, you can disagree with the THC platform. But the foundation is the concept of organizing, which I don't believe the left is doing right now, to their detriment.

You may disagree with the platform. Fine. But it's rooted in how movements succeed.

Yes, the Freedom Marchers protested. But what seems to be forgotten is they organized around an ask - their constitutional right to vote.

I’ll get behind BB. But I don’t fully understand it.

I am so sick of reading Corey Doctorow’s techno babble that only insiders understand.

If you us want citizens to get behind BB, explain in plain English. Give us actions to take.

I can’t keep going to protests, reading fucking substacks, or reading fucking social. I got the memo, man, we’re fucked. I need to take action. I need to fight back.

A soft sucession plan seems like the best move. You seem to not be onboard. Why not?

What are the financial details of the book deal?

I don't want to fund the hot takes business or comfort news. I want to help fund journalism and reporting. Because journalists and reporters are really important.

So I have a budget. I think right now I'm spending about $60/month. I think of this as an investment in my fellow man.

I have 3 blogs. But I'm not a reporter or a journalist.

I won't repost or blog about anything from an untrusted source, or that I haven't read and thought through.

Hot takes is now a business that many are capitalizing on. I think it's confused for journalism or reporting.
