My friends and I started an EDH/Commander league for my YouTube channel, and wanted some recommendations from y’all. What themes should we play?

So I typically proxy MTG cards if I already own a copy, play test to buy if I like it, or if it’s for my YouTube channel. I recently just found out that I do not own a copy of Arid Mesa even though I’ve been proxying it in my decks.
