I only feel slightly iffy about how the final scene was communicated, but I can cut it some slack on how hard translating musicals to film can be.

Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum did decently with their limited singing parts - Goldblum did better than I expected, but I recall he has experience in music prior, specifically jazz.

I was not aware Ariana Grande had Glinda's part, but it felt like watching a more egotistical Elle from Legally Blonde - perfect for the role.

And of course, the Witch herself, Cynthia Erivo, deserves all praise for conveying all of Elphaba's vulnerable desires and wants -
