Honestly my hope was this would smooth down the edges I felt with the Prime games with smart QoL decisions and expanded its weaker areas. Instead it doubled down on the faults, and brought very little original to the table worthwhile. Not terrible, but not often very fun.

And now post-Virgin Punk it feels like Virgin Punk was a way for Umetsu to remake A Kite without being pretentious.

It still has some live service issues but tbh, I fw this game and may leave it a positive review on Google Play

At least, I think I did, I saw the ending but I wasn't able to get the password at the end before losing my save when trying to restart. I may be missing an ending, but eh. It's neat, a playable creepypasta about game dev exploitation.

I hope to stick around and play more multiplayer, the game is crazy and weird and varied and I like it. Hope they do some updates for it to give me reasons to come back but it'll be a staple local multiplayer game for me now.

For the first time in the 25 years I've been playing it, I got a self-geared solo character through Hell difficulty. I think this knocked my nostalgia out for this game. It's good, but I feel now that I recognize it as more addictive than a masterpiece.

I'm glad despite losing senior staff that Platinum is still able to put together satisfying combat and altogether it was good, but boy was the pacing off. A couple really sour sections and teasing but not delivering an Ayane boss fight to fight a fish is a fuckin' waste.

Though I may be tempted into a second playthrough since I'd wager there are two major story paths. Seems like I went with the less popular one but I'm not really disappointed in it. Definitely as gripping as Telltale's best, not perfect writing but excellent at its job.

Part 1 i guess
I mean that sure was 40 minutes of trashy ass sakuga from Shaft and Umetsu. Tasteless, but kinda good hook for a suspense-action film. We were all disappointed that we'd have to see a 2nd movie for the cheap catharsis of decapitating the pedo villain.

Feel like I'd already seen the highlights with how many times the action scenes have been giffed and the hentai scenes uploaded to porn sites. But the detail that washes down the tastelessness is the infectious dumb attitudes of the leads

The artstyle softening up reminds me of other ecchi series doing similar moving further out of the 2000's like To Love Ru and Queen's Blade, mixed results here. Mashima had some decent battle plots he was sitting on, but feels safe at the same time.

A fun and janky mess, constantly dodgy dialogue and execution on the characters ranged from "this is the dumbest shit ever" to "that's pretty sick actually". It is carried by that ensemble cast with wild ideas and, no shit, Astolfo is far and away the most likable character.

This movie really was good at wasting your time making you wonder where it was going, only to go nowhere. Too little empathy to be consistently funny but was always trying. Tilda Swinton's weird scottish samurai was the best joke, and they ruin that in the end
