🏞️Siila: Her work at the UN helped ban toxic chemicals through the Stockholm Convention. In 2005, she was the 1st to launch an international legal action against the 🇺🇸 for its contribution to 🌐 warming, arguing it violated Inuit rights. Now 72, Siila continues speaking out to save her people & the 🌎.

📸Sharon: She started taking photos at Ohio State University during the civil rights era & went on to become the 1st black ♀️ hired as a White House photographer in 1993, and later the 1st ♀️ Director of WH Photography under Clinton. Now 74, Sharon uses her 📷 to continue to fight for social justice.

🏃🏼‍♀️Kathrine: She became the first woman to officially run the Boston marathon in 1967 & it started a lifelong quest to promote women’s running. It culminated in securing the women’s marathon's inclusion in the '84 Olympics. Now 78, she runs 261Fearless, a 🌐 nonprofit to empower women through running.

"I see this film as an opportunity to pass the torch from one generation of activists & changemakers to the next, since systemic, historic problems are rarely fixed in just 1 generation. I hope the doc will inspire young and old to pursue their passions and to fight for a better tomorrow." (2/2)

With humour & grit, these ladies shed light on what it takes to make it in a ‘♂️'s world’ & what old age looks like when you’re a self-described 'tough old broad.' This is more than a doc; it is the spark for a movement of ♀️, both young & old, to embrace their power, speak out, and demand attention.
