The Twilight Zone was an imaginative series with stories that still impress and resonate 60 years later. I'm excited to read new stories that honor that legacy, written by some real heavyweights! @torbooks.bsky.social @whitleystrieber.bsky.social @lauralippman.bsky.social @joerlansdale.bsky.social

The Kindom trilogy by @dr-bethany-jacobs.bsky.social  concludes with This Brutal Moon, which comes out this December. This is hands down one of the best SF series I've read in the last 10 years. If you haven't read the first two yet, what are you waiting for?! @orbitbooks.bsky.social

I love legal thrillers. Grave Danger by James Grippando looks like a great one.  Jack Swyteck takes the case of a mother fleeing to Miami from Iran with her daughter and a father who wants her back—a fight in international court and a strain on his own marriage loom. @harpercollins.bsky.social

I couldn't escape this book on social media, and I understand why. Not Quite Dead Yet by @hojay92.bsky.social  is about a young woman who is attacked and suffers an injury that leaves her with 7 days to live. Jet has just enough time to solve her own murder! @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social

Caddyshack is a legendary movie that people have been discovering, rewatching, and quoting for more than 40 years. In Caddyshack: The Making of a Hollywood Cinderella Story, Chris Nashawaty goes behind the scenes with the tale of how this irreverent story became a classic! @flatironbooks.bsky.social

Amazing to think of how many great, classic movies came out in the summer of 1982, one after the other. E.T, Blade Runner, The Road Warrior and more! The Future Was Now by Chris Nashawaty chronicles it all. Blockbusters, apparent failures, all classics. Love them all! @flatironbooks.bsky.social

A new edition of The Vampire Tapestry by Suzy McKee Charnas came out this week. This is a sleek, literary take on the vampire novel. Stellar writing and as impactful today as when it first came out nearly 50 years ago. #booksky #catsofBluesky @torbooks.bsky.social

I'm always eager to read fiction in translation, particularly set in less common places. Hunkeler's Secret by Jansjorg Schneider is part of the Inspector Hunkeler series set in WWII-era Switzerland. This looks like an excellent mystery! #BookSky #CatsofBluesky @bitterlemonpress.bsky.social

I love the way that @ddalglish.com builds fantasy worlds, particularly the relationship between gods, or near gods, and mortals. The Radiant King is the 1st book in the Astral Kingdoms series and it looks amazing! I am so ready to dive into this world! #BookSky #CatsofBluesky @orbitbooks.bsky.social
