2025 has easily been my hardest year yet. I lost my job and went on to lose friends and eventually even family relationships broke down. But within all that, I also found love, care and support from the most unexpected spaces and people.

Life is kinda like walking through a huge mall for the first time, you'll walk through a lot of wrong doors, even find yourself at the wrong floor sometimes but with every mistake, you learn what not to do and eventually you figure it out - until a new mall opens and you start all over again

There's a shame that comes with being unemployed that you can't explain unless you have been through it.

I think African parents need to wake up to the reality that while sending their kids abroad opens up opportunities for them, it also exposes them to a level of hostility that many of them probably never talk about
