It’s Shrove Tuesday! I don’t know what a Shrove is, but I must be appeasing it by munching pancakes and hearing jazz music!

Caine in its dilapidated, slightly-dirty fursuit, waving wearily at its smartphone’s camera in front of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, the host venue for Further Confusion 2025. Caine is photographed here rather than being at the late-night dance because its right footpaw is feeling particularly sore. It hopes that bed rest will help its paw feel better as it doesn’t have the extra money to afford seeing a doctor when rent is already so high and its weekend budget has been blown on registration and an art badge (a must-do for every furry convention Caine attends) alone. But it remains in high spirits as it enjoyed getting to see its friends!

It's Sunday night, the last big night of #FurtherConfusion 2024. Thanks for the plethora of hugs, the couple of snugs, the parties that ranged from exciting to chill, and a great lineup of events and panels!

Since we have our room one more night, I'll continue to linger 'til the afternoon! Mrrrowr~

It was a fun Friday, got to see lots of friends (and a surprising number of collaborators from my murrsuiting days) but right now I’m super duper sleepy so I’m back in my room for the night. Hmu for kitty cuddles tomorrow if you didn’t get any tonite! 💜
