Movies! I love movies! Especially Indian movies! Especially Malayalam language movies!
Sadly, it's mostly only films that come to OTT, so there are a bunch I won't get to (looking at Dominic and the Ladies' Purse).

OMG, a collab with Issey Miyake. Like. No words. (No, I don't want one.)

Oh, that's good to hear -- I'll get mine as soon as it is, I'm looking forward to reading it.

I know it's small potatoes, but the book is on my wish list. The problem is, as an academic publication with an academic price tag, I was hoping there would be a paperback version at some point with a more affordable (for me) price point. But I look at it longingly, for sure.

It's kind of ridiculous but fun, I've seen it several times!

I've reached the point where none of it surprises me any more, though it still makes me sad to think that nothing ever changes.

And that continues to be my issue with Pranav -- everyone around him is so good that the fact that he's not much above that low bar is even more glaringly obvious. Sigh. But yes, absolutely, actor in the climax, OMG.

I'm really hoping this is just a course correction and it will work itself out.

Yes, that's very much in line with what I've heard. Additionally, OTTs won't take a chance on films that didn't do big box office numbers, which automatically throws the small films out, even if they were critically acclaimed. I have a growing list of films I really want to see but likely won't.

That was the thing that really stood out for me. I've already been seeing this in play for Malayalam cinema, with so many small films never coming to OTT. And the problem is, they're never amongst the films that get brought over here, either. It's making me really sad.

Tabu and Farah Khan were friends, Tabu was also filming nearby, and Farah literally grabbed her in her street clothes and put her in the film.

It was an uncredited cameo, literally a blink and you'll miss her moment.

I love Main Hoon Na. I think it's Farah Khan's best film (yes, even over Om Shanti Om), and it's just such a lark.
