My favourite part is the person who started all this actually *broke off contact herself* in retaliation, and then continued that by passive aggressively publishing a memoir at her daughter. Like she is so clearly the problem. (Williams comes off as more credible to me).

It's a fair point, but the figure for Chernobyl is totally wrong. It also made Pripyat totally uninhabitable.
Both were really bad. Reducing the first doesn't elevate the second - it just undermines the whole argument.
