At the heart of Everything Everywhere All At Once is an undeniable fact: we're all small and stupid. Everything else depends on how, and with whom, you tackle this RIDICULOUS Everything Bagel.

Just be a rock, and ENJOY THE BAGEL. 🥯

Today, USN Expo festival begins, with 28 short films in competition from 15 countries, five days of screenings, meetings, books (and, of course, a party) and 25 new works dedicated to the history of queer cinema.

Ten years ago, I was in the first edition of Uno Sguardo in Mostra for USN Expo with an illustration dedicated to But I'm a Cheerleader. Ten years later, I chose a new movie for a variant poster of a classic of queer cinema: Everything Everywhere All At Once, a movie close to my heart (and my brain)

I used this page for a workshop with middle grade kids, a cheeky role play game on digital literacy, critical thinking and learning to recognize true facts from dubious information (or outright ai slop) when you're working on book on animal THIS odd.

In honor of #garweek, here's the page for Pesce Caimano from Fossili Viventi!
(It's in Italian, but I think that if I did my job right as an illustrator you can guess the contents just looking at the pictures!) #SciArt

I've enjoyed the usual dive into a tunnel of archive photos and material culture to see how Welsh men and women dressed in the last century, I was inspired for the mountain character from the cabotain hat that Welsh woman donned with the traditional clothes.

The illustrations were inspired by the characters' nicknames, they're called "allomingius" in Sardinian: they're used to identify which Vincenzo you're talking about among twenty Vincenzis with the same first & last name, there are maybe three family names passed down from generation to generation.

Today in the the letterbox I found the issue #3 of Versanti Magazine. I've illustrated "Climbing the Hill and Descending the Mountain" an article by Tommaso Ciuffoletti, a story that begins in Wales and ends in Ecuador, with everything in between.

This is of course inspired by that old manatee meme with the manatee face-planted in a lettuce head. Sometimes I wonder what I could accomplish in life if most of my neurons were not busy hanging on for dear life to memories of old memes and weird jingles.

This idiom is so odd. I have so many feelings any given day, the idea of eating them sounds so appealing: bitter feelings and sweet feelings and umami feelings and salty feelings and sour feelings, WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE? (And why I feel it just another way of policing other people's food intake?)

I guess it's not that big of a surprise that I'm a big Moomin fan: I love Jansson way of to see the transcendent and magical in the natural world, the weird, the goofy, the softness that can just as easily shift to the mischievous, alien, unknowable.

The Palestine sunbird (Cinnyris osea) is a small bird of the sunbird family, Nectariniidae. In 2015 the Palestinian Authority adopted the species as a national bird.
