Started building the walls of what I imagine is a kind of a cargo or shuttle bay. Still haven't quite discovered what type of ship the Heinlein was but it has come to rest within a space hulk or similar stellar entity. I think this will be where it needs to stop for a bit however, until I figure out how the hell to do the wiring. This old screen hopefully still works, but it runs off 8 "D" batteries, which I need to find a solution to.Might work on some scatter bits or figure out how to do the third level across the top of the bay door.Overall I'm happy so far. Project almost 3 years in the making, which ain't bad for me. Though the inspiration for the models may be older.Space Wolves were my first 40k army back in the day. And I've always wanted to try bow weilding scouts with cloaks inspired by some I saw on Pintrest. Now that Wolf Scouts are coming to Kill Team it seems like the best time to try.However, as any casual look at my feed will tell you, I like display boards for my warbands, which fit nicely in my tournament tray. So I think it's time to make a sci-fi themed one, especially as I wait for conversion bits to arrive for the Scouts.I got this little tv display out of an old Lego floor display we threw away while I worked at the book store. It's been in storage a long time so hopefully it still works. I originally wanted to make a Gallowdark game board with it, but life got in the way. So I figure I should use the bits on the display board instead.This will push my modeling ability a bit.
