That just means we would need help continuing to pay off his medical bill and paying for things like his food. We appreciate everything you guys have been doing lately, especially with everything we've been able to supply for him with all of the recent donations.

Since the vet is closed over the weekend, that would make things extra worrisome for us.

He's holding out well enough so far, though, and was even exploring around for a bit, so we're hoping he's getting better.

…food). If he can't use the restroom or has various other issues come up today, it's possible we may have to take him back to the vet tomorrow, possibly in order to have a particular surgery performed that would cost upwards of another $2,000 to have him undergo.

He also doesn't like the prescription food we were supplied to give him, so that's going to be anywhere from $60-130 to replace it with the appropriate kind that's more in-line with what he'll eat (we noticed he really wants his old dry food, and just didn't want to eat wet…

He's eaten food and drank water since he's been home, and we were able to give him his meds, too!

The bad news: we still haven't seen him use the restroom in any way since he's been home.

We've also managed to learn that the end price of everything we're going to have to pay for as of now is $2,500. Once we'd brought him home, he was laying down a lot at first, but he's started moving around more.

Right before we arrived, though, they had told us he managed to leak some pee, and his fever was breaking. That brought some relief to us, as we were initially going there expecting to have to put him down based on information they had just told us before we left.
