Ambiguous forms drift within the picture plane, creating an image that quietly sways the relationship between space and contour.

This piece is one of the slightly larger works I exhibited in my solo show last year in Osaka. Through layers of depiction, rubbing, and bleeding with white colored pencil, I aimed for a composition where the figurative and the abstract coexist.

I was deeply saddened and disheartened by the outdated world order, where wars and conflicts persist, and this work was born from those emotions.
As a result, it has likely become more surrealist than my previous works.
