Parents want you to step in and raise their kids UNTIL you aren’t doing it exactly how they want you to. It’s exhausting.

More than just a number, my reading goal is to read books I already own in 2025. I have over 100 books I own and have never read and that’s just insane behavior. Time to cut down the TBR I’ve curated for 5 years.

I think I just love learning and so I expect others to as well. There’s only a handful of kids that aren’t apathetic and want to learn. But it also feels like I’m giving up if I leave and that I didn’t have the chops to ride it out. Idk. Lots of thoughts flowing right now.

I’ve contemplated leaving education for the past three years. This year was my “Hail Mary” to see if it was for me. I love my district and their support to me as I’ve been struggling. I just don’t feel the passion anymore.
