We are now seeking any other reports of damage associated with strong winds in southern English coastal counties from Devon through to Kent between 2pm and around 7:30pm on 7th June. We are particularly interested in areas east of Pulborough through W. & E. Sussex and into Kent after 17:55.

Thread... A site investigation at Pulborough in West Sussex revealed evidence of a moderate tornado (T2) , which occurred around 17:55 on Saturday 7th June. Thankfully no homes were found to have been damaged. A report is being written.

We have issued a convective discussion primarily for squally winds but including the risk for isolated tornadoes. This covers this afternoon until 21:00.
