TORPA New Low BANDCAMP The spirit of Ennio Morricone pervades this fine collection of cinematic gems from square-eyed Chester brothers Steve and Peter Dandy. 'Roll Camera... And Begin' boasts the kind of chord changes that once only accompanied Clint Eastwood spitting cigar butts onto a sawdust-strewn floor, while the sinister arpeggios of 'No More Second Chances' suggest Lee Van Cleef is lurking nearby, diligently buffing his Colt 45. But it's not all dustbowl saloons. The graceful synths of the title track are surely a mischievous nod to the milestone David Bowie album that (almost) shares its name. BF

Big thanks to everyone who came down early to check us out. It was an absolute joy!

Jackie O Motherfucker themselves delivered a stunning set of neo-noir soaked, narcotic folk. And great people they are too.

Had the absolute pleasure of seeing TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME at the cinema for the first time. Peerless filming making from David Lynch and Sheryl Lee’s iconic and fearless performance is even more incredible on the big screen.

One of the greats of contemporary cinema. A master of atmosphere, dread and unease.

His latest film, Cloud, is one of the year’s best. A brilliantly constructed mix of psychological drama and a blackly comic thriller.
