Also, they actually have done conservation work. They’ve help with developing the EEHV vaccine for elephants. They also used the cloning tech to help with species with low genetic diversity because of humans reducing their numbers so much.

Not so much anymore. Woolly mammoth, as well as other extinct megafauna, survived several warm periods. Mammoths themselves even survived long past the last climate change event, until after the pyramids
