Then, also came Beenie Man, king of the reggae hall- where music is about booty shaking and getting laid.

Nothing political here.

I said political statements, and ma vlast was a wonderful song about nationalism and the creation of the Czech Republic.

No statements or speaking to your truth or power, just good music and nationalism no broken stars.

Wouldn't it be great if Music went back to being music instead of political statements?

I'd say the biggest difference between would be
(1) Likes evidence based, best practiced, reproducible reality.
(2) The other enjoys hammering reality out with a Hegelian dialectic chasing synthesis.

Not grounding reality in evidence bases is very dangerous.

I view it as everyone hopping on the populism train in their own way.

Pierre, Bernier, now the libs.

The only holdouts are green/ndp and the unions seem to be departing from the NDP leaving a very scary husk inside.

Or just fine-tune some stable diffusion

The libs are on an interesting path into the new 'right of center' liberalism with an interesting mix of nationalist socialism.

We all know what happened to the last national socialist party...

Imagine in the future arguing for billions of dollars for AI with deepseek?

The alternatives are quantitative easing.
We've seen how since 2009 printing money leads to debt slavery for Canadians.
We need independence.

Can you imagine what this is going to do with 100% auto-tariff?

China will pull away in the vehicle market.
