I had a boss like that. Once, the fire alarm went off. We all left the building per procedure. He didn’t. To our amusement fireman literally carried him out of the building.

Eventually, this type of conduct will come back and haunt Meta. Users will ignore all ads thinking they are a scam. Legitimate ad people will find it is not worth the time or money to advertise on Meta platforms.

A reason for the vain vulgarian screaming at the senate to get rid of the filibuster. He might need them to pass his tariffs.

Unaware, my understanding was it was part of Catholic theology. I stand corrected. Though a privilege bestowed by the state. I thought it arose from the fight between secular power (European Kings and the pope).
October 11, 2025 at 1:14 AM
That is good to hear. I imagine it has to be done low profile.
October 11, 2025 at 12:50 AM
And yet the people who control the levers of power all claim to be Christian.

Depending on an old memory, I believe churches offered sanctuary in the sixties to draft dodger etc
And sanctuary is not amnesty. It is protection from secular authorities.
October 10, 2025 at 11:13 PM
